God’s Simple Plan Of Salvation: Read this plan to know how to be saved

Introduction: Biblical salvation according to the Apostle Paul

New Testament salvation that the apostle Paul preached was not based upon a list of do’s and dont’s, but solely upon a PERSONAL relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, who made complete payment for ALL of your sins through His death on the cross. Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. And through belief in His death, burial, and resurrection, any man, woman, or child can be forever saved FROM a literal place called hell, and be given the GIFT of eternal life. This gift CANNOT be earned or purchased through good deeds, it is only given through your FAITH in Christ’s finished work on the cross of Calvary. It is the work of His sacrificial death on the cross that saves you, through the cleansing of ALL your sins by His shed blood. You can never do enough good things to wash away all of your sins to get yourself to heaven. Therefore, belief in Jesus Christ is the only WAY to heaven, and all other religions and beliefs will lead to that place called Hell. BIBLE TRUTH #1:

The Bible says that you are a sinner

All have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Rom 3:23). Therefore, there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not (Eccl. 7:20). And, if we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us (1 John 1:8).

By one man (Adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men (you), for that all have sinned (Romans 5:12).

Conclusion: Believe that you are a sinner by nature (born a sinner).

BIBLE TRUTH #2:

The Bible says that UNSAVED sinners WILL die and go to hell.

Fear not them (people) which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather FEAR Him (God) which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matt. 10:28), where the fire is not quenched (Mark 9:46). The unsaved rich man testified to the fact that hell is HOT with flames, because when he died he went DOWN to hell and he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and could see (Luke 16:23). This rich man in Luke 16 was NOT unconscious, but could feel and see, and even remember his family and had recognition of other people that he knew. Upon rememberance of his family, he asked for someone to go back to earth and tell them (his family) not to come there (hell) because he did not want them to be tormented in the flames.

The word of God says, he (you) that believeth on Jesus Christ is notcondemned: but he (you) that believeth not is condemned ALREADY, because he (you) hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God (John 3:18). And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil (John 3:19). This fact of scripture that men love darkness rather then light is the only reason why men and woman today reject Jesus Christ.

Where is hell? It is in the heart of the earth. Christ said, as Jonah was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth (Matt. 12:40). In Acts 2:31 it says about Christ Jesus, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. Hell is the place where Christ went after He died on the cross. This was part of the payment for your sin that he had to suffer.

It is your sin that will put you into hell. In Psalms 9:17 it say, the wicked shall be turned into hell. God will not put a baby, a young child, or a mentally disabled person into hell because they are not accountable for their sin and don’t understand that their sin is against God and His laws. But you, He will hold accountable for sin and even make you pay the debt for your sin, which is death and then hell.

Conclusion: You must believe that there is a hell. Believe that your sin will send you to hell when you die. And, believe that only Christ’s sacrificial payment on the cross is enough to satisfy God’s wrath (hell).

BIBLE TRUTH #3:

The Bible says salvation (eternal life) CANNOT be earned.

The GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Rom. 6:23). And since eternal life is only given as a gift, then all you must do is receive it. That is why the word of God says, as many as received Him (Christ), to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name (John 1:12).

Because of the GRACE of the giver a gift can only be received, not earned through labor and work. This fact is consistent with what the Apostle Paul said; if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work(Rom. 11:6). In Romans 5:12 – 21, Paul explains to the Romans that death reigns over all of us because of Adam’s sin in the garden. But, eternal life has abounded to many people because of Christ substitutionary death on the cross for our sins. He gave His life for yours so that God the Father could be gracious and give the gift of eternal life to you when you receive His Son (Christ). In other words, just as sin sends people to hell because of Adam’s one sin, even so does grace send people to heaven who have sinned inummerable times, but were justified by Lord Jesus Christ.

By grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast (Eph. 2:8,9). Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified (Gal. 2:16). Now to him (you) that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him (you) that worketh not, but believeth on him (Christ) that justifieth the ungodly, his (your) faith is counted for righteousness. Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin (Rom. 4:4 – 8).

Conclusion: Believe that your good works cannot save you. Neither can your church attendance, church membership, baptism, sacraments, keeping of the ten commandments, or anything that is a work. Believe that ONLY your faith on Christ can save you, and NOTHING else.

BIBLE TRUTH #4:

The Bible says that ONLY Christ Jesus can save.

Jesus said, He is the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Him (John 14:6). Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12). This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners (1 Tim. 1:15). There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Tim. 2:5). This verse teaches that only Christ mediates between God the Father and men, not the virgin Mary, not Mohammed, not Buddha, and not any other earthly god. Christ hath once suffered for sins, the just (Him) for the unjust (you), that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit (1 Peter 3:18).

The Lord Jesus Christ is the only true savior of the world because He did not stay dead. He was declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead (Rom. 1:4).

Conclusion: Believe that only Christ Jesus can save you. Never expect the earthly gods to save you from hell, because they are all dead and in the grave.

BIBLE TRUTH #5:

The Bible says how to be saved.

It is very simple to be saved, just follow what the Bible says. When Paul was asked by the Philippian jailer “what must I do to be saved”, Paul said to him, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved” (Acts 16:31).

In Romans chapter ten Paul again gave similiar instructions on being saved, when he said, “If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Rom. 10:9-11, 13).

In the gospel of John chapter one. verse twelve, it says, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God” (John 1:12 ,13). This verse is simply telling you that you must receive Christ as your saviour.

Conclusion: If you whole heartly believe: one, that you are a sinner; two, unsaved sinners will eventually die and then go to hell; three, that you cannot saved youself; and four; that only the Lord Jesus Christ can save you, then you are ready to believe on Christ.

Conclusion:

The Bible says that TODAY is the day of salvation.

There are no promises that you will live past today. Put your faith in Christ today because tomorrow might be to late. You don’t want to end up in hell! Get saved today!

To be saved you must call upon the Lord. This call is praying to the Lord. Prayer is definitely connected with being saved, because the Bible says, “Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Rom. 10:13). You must pray to be saved. Whether an outward prayer from the mouth or an inward prayer from your heart and mind, call upon the Lord to save you.

As words of comfort, know this, that God doesn’t expect you to pray an exactly worded prayer to be saved. He will except the best way you know how to pray. Why? Because, no matter what we say from our mouths, He knows our hearts.

This is what He expects: first, believe the above BIBLE TRUTHS and second, CALL upon him for salvation. That is all He wants from you.
